Cole Construction, Inc. started as an irrigation and landscape business servicing the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex residential and commercial needs. Over the years, Sprinkle N’ Sprout became a successful Landscape Contractor and Subcontractor in the landscape construction industry, earning a reputation for integrity and performance work. In 2004, Cole Construction, Inc. began providing general contracting services and performing contract projects with many Dallas/Fort Worth municipalities. Since then, Cole Construction has been a pivotal Contractor in developing the Metroplex.

Job Description

Cole Construction, Inc. seeks a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. Cole Construction, Inc. is a General Contracting company that specializes in municipality work pertaining to parks and recreation projects, drainage improvement projects, street pavement construction, heavy civil construction, landscape and irrigation construction, and concrete construction. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and be able to show a strong ability to negotiate contracts with subcontractors and control costs effectively.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue new bid opportunities for Public and Private work for General Contracting.
  • Obtain bids from suppliers and subcontractors by specifying materials and identifying qualified subcontractors.
  • Provide complete and accurate quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare cost analysis for labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Provide complete estimates in the client’s custom proposal forms.
  • Attend bid openings and pre-construction meetings.
  • The position requires close communication with internal operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of On Screen Take Off, Bid2Win, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related construction degree is preferred but not required.
  • 3 years of General Contractor Estimating required.
  • Multi-tasking skills are required to be able to do multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer Skills required.
  • No travel (position based in Fort Worth, Texas).
  • Adhere to company policies and compliance with federal and state legislation laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Yearly bonus

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Fort Worth, TX 76244: Relocate before starting work (Required)
