Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Labor Supervisor to join our construction team. The Labor Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers on-site. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of construction processes and procedures.

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction laborers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications

- Oversee the quality control of work performed by the laborers, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements

- Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure that deadlines are met.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or areas for improvement

- Train and mentor new laborers, providing guidance on proper construction techniques and safety protocols

- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and progress reports

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address any issues or changes in project scope.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Labor Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including quality control, and contract management

- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints to guide construction activities

- Proficiency in construction management software such as HeavyJob, or ProCore

- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during construction projects

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
