Title: Research Intern (Analytical & Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Location: Camarillo, CA (Onsite)

Overview:
The intern will work with a member of the Coherus scientific staff to develop and assess the performance of analytical methods for protein characterization.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform research and development experiments under the direction of a Coherus advisor.
• Make detailed observations, maintain laboratory notebooks, and help analyze data, and interpret results.
• May help prepare technical reports.
• Assess current scientific literature applicable to the project.

Experience, Education, Training, Traits:

• Requires successful completion of 3 years of course work including at least 3 laboratory courses in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Requires a theoretical understanding of and ability to apply established principles, theories and concepts in area of responsibility, together with an understanding of related disciplines.
• Previous research experience in the academic setting is beneficial, but not required.
• Detail oriented and thorough in following procedures, maintaining analytical instrumentation, and documenting experiments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including all MS Office applications.

The compensation for this position is: $25.00 per hour.
