Cohasset Gifts is a small, family-owned business, looking for an energetic and highly motivated employee who is interested in working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Our ideal candidate will be a fast learner with the ability to self-manage, be able to assess the potential needs around them and take steps to meet them. Potential for advancement to a more managerial position based on performance and ability.

A day in the life:
Perform an array of functions in a warehouse setting that may include:

• Read order directions, then accurately select the appropriate product and quantity for order processing or stocking.
• Identify a product that is not fit for shipment because of: obvious damage, poor quality, or improperly located product.
• Operate equipment required for pulling/stocking/receiving forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks.
• Clean product to be ready to be packed after assess current orders ready to be packed and current clean stock levels.
• Assist as backup to shipping when needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized facility.
• Identify low stock items and notify manger of those items.
• Other duties are assigned as needed.

* This position involves frequent walking, pushing/pulling, repetitive bending, stooping, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and occasional climbing on ladders to reach product in shelves.

Experience and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum productivity standards
• Warehouse and Forklift experience is desired but not required
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to show up Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
