Test Manager - Oracle Transport Management (OTM) & ERP System (Remote)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

8to10 yrs. into Oracle Testing (OTM & ERP)

Roles and Responsibilities

*A seasoned professional having strong record of success in setting up and leading test services for Consulting and Software Quality Engineering programs.

*Expert in Agile Scrum/Waterfall models and end to end Software Quality Assurance principles.

*Accomplished Functional Test Lead/Test Manager with progressive experience in developing a Test Plan and Test Strategy, Reviewing and Analyzing project requirements, Test resource planning and management, Conducting and Monitoring the test process, Promoting Test automation, Test execution and defect management, Tracking and Reporting test metrics (progress against plan), highlighting risks and issues to project teams and senior stakeholders.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of OTM and ERP system integration points.

Hand-on working experience on Transportation Management module. (Transportation Basics, Order Base, Order Release, Shipment Planning, Shipment Management, Network Routing, Calendars and Dock Scheduling, Rates , OTM Freight Settlement, Fleet Management ,OTM Workbenches, Document and Reporting Management)

Good understanding and experience in various functional modules - Order Management, Shipment Management, Fleet Management, Contract and Rate Management, Configuration and Administration

Strong understanding of ERP software capabilities, rapidly discern, refine, and incorporate requirements into highly functional systems.

Proficient at identifying potential problems, offering alternative solutions, functional support and process improvements that facilitate operational excellence.

Experienced in Mobile devices and Android tablets testing.

Hands on experience on Rally, Zephyr, Service Now, Clarity, HP ALM, JIRA, ADPART, Oracle Test Manager, Bug DB and Remedy.

Led and managed cross-functional teams, both at onsite and offshore for several high budget projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[95,000 - $112,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
