The Sr Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the supply chain projects and initiatives across the company. The focus of this role is to provide support to all key stakeholders and the cross-functional analytics and S&OP team. This role will work with all supply chain functions including Transportation, Warehousing, S&OP, and Inventory along with other functions such as Merchandising, Sales, and Finance. The Supply Chain Sr Analyst is responsible for extracting data, creating analysis models, identifying issues and potential solutions, and generating meeting content and visuals. The position develops Supply Chain analytics in multiple areas to support growth and cost-effective execution.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1. Analyses: Performs data analysis combining business knowledge with knowledge of relational databases and basic reporting tools. Creates analysis models to answer business needs and suggest impact or solutions for issues. Uses SQL or Access to draw out data from data storage and perform analyses in Excel and other analytical platforms.
2. Reporting and Dashboarding: Responsible for creating and maintaining various adhoc and recurring reports and dashboards to support supply chain teams using Power BI and other visual dashboards. Interview users, identify business needs, document process and needs, and resolve data and reporting issues within the team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders.
3. Communication of Results: Presents written and verbal data analysis findings to business stakeholders. Conduct training of reports and dashboards to key users. Lead meetings to gather requirements and share results.
4. Miscellaneous and Training: Support special projects and initiatives as needed. Participate in trainings as required to continuously improve technical and interpersonal skills.
5. May provide training and guidance to other analysts.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Finance, Inventory Management, Logistics, Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Demand/Inventory Planning Systems.
• Data querying and manipulation using Access/Excel/SQL. Business Objects report writing very helpful.
