The Role

Our Tele-communications, Media and Technology group is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our journey. We're looking for someone who is known for their ability to develop client relationships through their professional network and foster partnerships with account teams who have established relationships. As a member of our team, you will be responsible to provide leadership on multiple dimensions - business development, executive client leadership, thought leadership, and collaborative leadership within the Cognizant Consulting, and throughout Cognizant Technology Solutions more broadly.

As a senior consultant, overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. Responsibilities:

• Work as a strategic partner of the business.
• Be the liaison between business and technology
• Keep alignment with business groups on strategic vision and business priorities
• Understand technology capabilities required to support business needs, Product development, business process and requirements
• Providing consulting services, including practices, expertise, and resources to tackle business challenges, and helping identify and manage needed process improvements (including identification of new or improved business capabilities)

• Defining business capabilities planning and design in support of the business strategy, regardless of where it is found or what the solution may be, with a primary focus on technology.
• Taking user centric approach in generating ideas and defining digital products/concepts aligned with delivering the business capabilities required to solve key business problems
• Develops clear and comprehensive product vision, product strategy, value proposition and measurable business KPIs that the product will deliver
• Understand industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor offerings and align product roadmap for differentiation and market leadership
• Product development, business process and requirements
• Translate business needs into requirements and work with development team through the entire project lifecycle (acting as a Product Owner / Business Analyst)
• Work with the business to define participations and residual requirements, and provide insight on various guild rules
• Launch new products and features, test product functions and performance, and iterate quickly. Oversee product development and release lifecycle. Ensure on time delivery of new product and/or features
• Lead business meetings/interviews to understand business process, issues, and requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and other project activities required by Agile software development methodology
• Define business rules, screen mockup and system functionality
• Support business users on system configuration, admin and other business activities * Identify system issues, trouble shoot and analyze potential solutions including workarounds

Qualifications:

• Around 8-10 years of experience in business/domain consulting within Communications, Media and Technology.
• Experience in leading the workstreams independently/with team of consultants executing customer journey transformation, business process and digital Product Management.
• Business thinking and strategy acumen, to define practical solutions that align with business strategy
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities
• Strong analytical process modeling skills along with ability to lead complex enterprise teams through business process integrations, converting business strategy into action-oriented objectives and measurable results.
• Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex business operations and systems.
• Have strong product instincts, and an appreciation for and understanding of lean startup is preferred
• Experience in leading/coaching delivery teams in delivering insurance technology products in truly agile fashion is preferred
• Experience in Safe Agile & knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA, ADO etc..) a plus
• Strong communicator and Influencer- Ability to influence, and effectively communicate product vision with senior business leaders and peer team.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/17/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000.00 to $145,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
