About the Role:

The successful candidate will be able to author business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Also, collaborating with other partners to build the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Furthermore, serving as a domain expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales, and consulting/implementation services.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain .NET 8 MVC Web API and Angular 15 application.
• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participating in internal and sprint meetings to clarify requirements, formulate design approaches and confirm they meet the business needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving support requests in production environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Participate in development prototypes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience:

Minimum of four years' related experience in a software development environment.

• Strong Proficiency in C# .Net Core MVC Web API.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code,POSTMAN, Azure Repo with GIT and NuGet and related tools.
• Strong Proficiency in writing stored procedures and functions using relational database Azure SQL.
• Experience in designing ,documenting,developing and integrating REST API in Angular application
• Experience in developing background services in C# / WebJobs.
• Experience with Agile development Methodologies.

Desired Experience:

• Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
