Mobile - Android Architect (On Site)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Android developer with experience in Android Jetpack, Flutter and Kotlin . You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Location: Denver, CO (On Site)

Role Responsibilities:

• Define technical architecture and strategy for the mobile application that is envisioned with the customer.
• Continuously improve engineering process and capabilities.
• Drive end-to-end solutions including mobile DevOps, automated testing, analytics etc.
• Discover, learn & adopt and brainstorm new features.
• Rapid prototyping, Prepare and present POV to customers.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 to10 years of overall experience in building Mobile Applications
• 5 years of experience in Android Kotlin, Java development, Android Studio
• 2 years of experience in Jetpack Compose
• Experience with RxJava development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screens
• Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack MVVM Android UI design principles patterns and best practices
• Working knowledge on CICD tools such as Jenkins
• Application Design

• Bachelors Degree

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for job is between $72K – $156K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
