The Role

Our Transformation Management group is looking for a Project Manager to join our journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about transformation, wants to make an impact, and loves working together to deliver flawless results for an end-client to join us on our mission. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for using proven methodology to create a client strategy and a change strategy to help drive business and IT strategies and implementations for the Fortune 2000.

With a focus on Change, Training, and Communication, our OCM Practice is an integral part of our Consulting offering, because we help organizations make changes successfully. We support all types of Business and IT Strategy transformations such as Organizational Re-alignments, Digital Transformations, Business and IT Outsourcing, IT Package Implementations and Upgrades (i.e., WalkMe, Whatfix, SAP EnableNow & most industry leading practice packages), Organizational Design & Governance, Workforce Strategy & Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, Target Operating Model Transformations, and more. We lead with a strong platform for integrated OCM and Technology, which sets us apart from the competition and makes this group a key partner in some of the biggest and most business-changing digital transformations in the industry. 

To be successful, you’ll need a background that supports your ability to upskill and implement traditional change management capabilities such as Organizational Change Management Strategy & Planning, Change Impact Assessments, Readiness Assessments, Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement, Communications (Strategy, Planning and Implementation), Training (Strategy, Planning and Delivery). For these positions, we are considering people with transferrable skills, such as experience in Communications, Marketing, Teaching, Social Media, or Accounting.

We’re looking for Project Manager who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant’s industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects.In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Responsibilities

• Based on experience, support or own and manage one or more project workstream(s), including deliverables, while adhering to budget, timelines, and client engagement guidelines.
• Partner with business stakeholders across the company to understand individual department and company goals/initiatives and assess the correlated digital adoption challenges. 
• Work on cross functional delivery teams that design, develop, deliver, and maintain digital products.
• Research and think analytically about strategy and solutions, and subsequently initiate dialogue with stakeholders about execution of digital readiness and adoption. 
• Assess needs and use cases, quickly design impactful and creative solutions, measure results, and iterate and improve to drive optimal outcomes. 
• Collaborate with business, technical and creative partners to ensure timely delivery of software readiness, communications and training. 
• Measure and evaluate the impact of solutions developed against KPIs set forth to drive ROI back to the business. 
• Seek feedback and obtain consensus across stakeholders from project initiation through final approval. 
• Collaborate with SAP Enable Now CSM and Sales contacts in order to get the most out of the SAP Enable Now tool and ensure that expansion of Digital Adoption Platform is not hindered by technical or licensing limitations. 
• Manage a small-medium sized team of full-time or part-time dedicated resources in order to disseminate product knowledge, assist with technical hang-ups, assist with prioritization and assignment of project-based initiatives, and up-leveling all related metrics/ROI.

Qualifications

• 5 years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within Organizational Change Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; work-in-progress on a Masters or MBA
• Broad understanding of core business processes, technology challenges, and technical/business solutions associated with an industry.
• Extensive experience in utilizing WalkMe and/or Whatfix as Learning & Development tool, with proven track record in implementing digital adoptions.
• Certifications in Agile and SAFe (e.g., SAFe Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master)
• Experience within a consultancy, within a targeted industry domain, or within a digital solution environment core to one or more of Cognizant’s businesses
• Travel Required: As needed by client

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000.00 – $136,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
