Role Overview:

As a Community Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our customer and partner enablement team. You will work closely with our Head of Community and Academy, with the primary responsibility to facilitate the growth, engage, and monitor our vibrant community. This role combines technical skills, exceptional support capabilities, and a proactive mindset towards automation and seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in automation and API Integration:
Develop and implement automated workflows using APIs to streamline community management processes
Integrate our Gainsight community platform with external tools such as Salesforce, Zapier, Skilljar, and Zendesk to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Engagement and Support:
Review and promptly respond to community posts, utilizing automated responses where applicable to improve efficiency.
Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts from our product, engineering, and support teams, leveraging automated notifications and alerts for timely responses.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
Generate insightful reports and dashboards of community data using automated data retrieval and visualization tools.
Utilize APIs to gather and analyze community feedback, facilitating data-informed decision-making processes.
  • Content Orchestration and Integration:
Identify reusable content and transform it into community assets, leveraging APIs for content aggregation and distribution.
Coordinate the integration of community content with external platforms and systems, ensuring seamless content delivery and accessibility.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in customer service, product support, documentation, or community management, with a strong emphasis on automation and API integration
  • Experience in customer marketing is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building automated workflows via APIs, with basic coding skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and exceeding customer expectations
  • Passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to the growth of a dynamic, fast-expanding company
