Our Care Partners (Caregivers) provide direct care to our senior residents following a personalized treatment plan. If you are kind and genuinely desire to make meaningful connections with our residents, a Cogir community may be the place for you.

What will you do as a Care Partner?

  • Assist the residents in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while following community protocol, licensing regulations, and guidelines for both resident and employee safety.
  • Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
  • Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs.
  • Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
  • Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Current caregiver training / certification as specified by state agency or the willingness / ability to obtain
  • Valid CNA or HCA license in the state of WA. Recent grads are welcome!
  • Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
  • Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
