Title: Lawn Care Worker

Duration: Contract 
Summary of Job Duties:
The Maintenance Assistant (Grounds) performs routine landscape and groundskeeping related tasks, and assists
with moving and hauling of university property.
Required Education and/or Experience:

• Valid State of Arkansas Driver License

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general grounds keeping duties, including maintaining equipment and supplies;
• Operate handheld manual equipment to cut grass, fertilizing and watering grass and plant material, grass edging, weed eating, raking, mulching of leaves and various other grounds waste materials
• Perform moving and transport of furniture and surplus property on and off campus which requires lifting/unloading items weighing up to 50 pounds or more, may at times be required to operate a motorized vehicle
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of the methods and techniques used in landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motorized vehicle.

Shift:

• 7:30 am - 4 pm some weekends
