Reason for assignment:
- Maternity leave for 6 months, starting end of April so there will be some overlap with employee going out on maternity leave ideally
- Help with some projects that haven't been reassigned to other team members
- Batching, stabilities
- Will be some physical lifting required - 5-10 lbs
- Skills: detail oriented, ability to handle high workload and multitask
- No industry experience with BS is fine
- Nice to have: batching emulsion, taking specs
- Under close supervision, completes tasks as directed. Adheres to set objectives and standards.
- Ordering raw materials, making batches and keeping track of experiments in lab notebook.
- Performs and tracks stability on all formulas made. Needs to be detailed-oriented.
- Open communication to bring to the attention of the chemists/manager of any stability issues.
- Interface with support groups for testing requests via IT system.
- BS, Chemistry or related field required
- 0-3 Years of Experience
