ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES
System Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP GRC, Solution Manager etc., based on business requirements and best practices.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations of SAP software components.
Perform AIX OS upgrades, patches, and installations.
System Administration:
Perform routine system administration tasks such as client copy, system copy, client export/import, and system refresh.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance.
Transport Management:
Configure and manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for transporting changes between SAP systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot transport-related issues.
Backup and Recovery:
Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.
Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
Integration and Interface Management:
Configure and manage interfaces and integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot interface related issues.
Performance Tuning:
Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures to optimize system performance.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (SOX, PCI, Corporate, etc.).
