### Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of young students. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

### Responsibilities

Hiring teachers for kindergarten through 5th grade, with a focus on K/1 and 2nd grade; 4th/5th grade teachers preferably certified.
Instructional hours from 9AM - 3:30PM(EST), Monday to Friday.
Delivering instruction across all subjects(Math, Science, Reading and Social Studies), with a focus on Math and Science for 4th and 5th grades.
Planning and implementing educational instruction using effective methodologies.
Conducting assessments and providing feedback to ensure mastery of objectives.
Collaborating with parents/guardians and educators, and modifying education plans as needed.
Implementing the approved curriculum and completing administrative tasks.
Utilizing preventive discipline methods and promoting positive character development.
Demonstrating understanding of Imagine Schools' Six Measures of Excellence.
Performing additional duties as assigned by the Principal/School Leader

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pertinent area.
Licenses & Certifications: State certification and endorsement in assigned area.
Experience: Pre-service experience required for certification. Minimum 1year of teaching experience is needed.
Knowledge, Ability & Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform independently and in groups. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask when necessary. Knowledge of theory and practice of student learning styles. Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and statutes.
Ability to remain pleasant and calm under sometimes-stressful circumstances. Ability to communicate cooperatively and constructively with other staff, students, and parents in
a multi-cultural environment. Computer skills including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,146.86 per year
