If you have 10 or more years of experience, and can perform design work in a collaborative environment, you may be just who we are looking for.In This Role You Will:Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & industrial projectsCollaborate with the architect, other engineering disciplines, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawingsWork closely with designers, drafters, modelers, and other in-house engineers to execute structural designsMeet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during designInterface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complicationsManage projects profitably and maintain a working relationship with clientsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering, or other structural engineering related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer (PE)10 years of structural engineering experienceDesign experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete for building and nonbuilding structuresExperience with structural analysis softwareAdditional Education, Credentials & Experience Preferred (not required) Include:Master’s degree in civil or architectural engineering, or other structural engineering related fieldRegistration as a Structural Engineer (SE)Design experience with light gage steel, CMU, and timberExperience with AutoCAD and/or RevitThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.Additional InformationWhy You Want To Work HereCoffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
