The successful individual will have an interest in the design of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems for hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. In addition, the individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSApproximate Base Salary – 110k-150k based on experiencePaid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rateCompetitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performanceHybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee ContributionQualificationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSBS in Mechanical engineering or related fieldPE license in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 8 years of experienceExperience with AutoCAD and RevitExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProject Management experience and/or certificationsDesire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of applicable codes: mechanical, energy, plumbingExcellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with both HVAC and Plumbing systemsExperience with energy modeling software (EnergyPro, etc.)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESMust be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner.Passionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work.Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign software preferred. Must understand database concepts.
