The Manager Training program’s length varies. You will be fully trained within 3 months (90 days), but you may be in this role for a longer period of time. This program is focused on immersing a manager in training in all aspects involved in running a business, and leading a team. Training takes place in store locations. The program trains you on the necessary principles of management including: Creating a welcoming environment for staff and customers, Placing Orders, Hiring, Scheduling, Reporting, Coaching and leading staff Members and Overseeing all other Day to Day Operations.
We are looking for candidates to develop and cross train in every aspect of:
Leadership- The ability to positively lead and develop a team while following all franchise regulations.
Administrative- The ability to efficiently staff and stock a store while meeting all deadlines and operating within payroll and inventory budgets.
Organizational- The ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment both inside and outside the store.
Customer Service- The ability to build sales and develop loyal relationships with customers by providing outstanding products and amazing service in a fast, friendly, efficient manner.
Career Progression:
The Store Manager Training Program position must complete the training to be given the opportunity to become a Store Manager. Successful completion of the program is the first step for leadership. Note*The SMTP Position may be continued on past the 90 day window based on the need of a Management position in our stores* You will start off learning the Barista position, as well as the Shift Leader Position. We want to make sure Store Manager candidates are well rounded in every position on the floor, and master those positions.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on our products
• Suggestively sell gift cards, complementary/additional products, and
merchandise
• Manage cash drawer, following established cash handling procedures
• Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines
• Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drink upon delivery
• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment
• Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of coworker and customer areas
• Demonstrate genuine appreciation to each customer
