Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. (CRI) based near Lovelock, Nevada is seeking a Crusher General Supervisor to join our team at the Rochester Mine.

Position Summary

Responsible for implementing and overseeing the successful, safe execution of the crushing plant which includes a gyratory primary, cone secondary and HPGR tertiary crusher flowsheet circuits. Coordinating development and execution of crusher budgeted tons, achieve budgeted PSD, and co-ordinate with fixed maintenance activities. Review and recommend potential production improvement strategies to meet or exceed production objectives.

What You'll Do:

* Reporting to the Crusher Superintendent, manage and have oversight responsibilities of Crusher operations activities and collaborate with Fixed Maintenance during the daily, regular shutdown, and major/campaign maintenance work programs activities.

* Develop and execute realistically aggressive annual improvement plans targeted at continual improvement of operating and business results.

* Working with the site and corporate groups, identify, define, and implement changes to the crushing system, controls, and process, to meet required KPI's as they change due to opportunities for maximized plant throughput, optimal efficiency, and product quality. Collaborate with corporate/ site metallurgical groups for optimal recovery, and with mine engineering and geology groups for feed optimization, etc.

* Using these processes identify bottlenecks in the system and opportunities for improvement, i.e. screen efficiency modeling and crusher/HPGR operating procedures and settings to control/minimize fines generation and optimize top size reduction for optimal metal recovery.

* Coordinate with Production, Crushing, Process to implement changes and ensure it is properly rolled out and maintained consistently by all parties to be able to truly identify benefits and detriments associated with the change.

* Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace while enforcing safety, environmental, and company procedures and guidelines.

* Identifying areas where improvement to safety performance is necessary and initiating/instilling this change within the appropriate teams and areas.

* Direct and manage all mine production activities including planning, budgeting, staffing, cost containment, and profitability.

* Effectively communicating and coordinating with peers the appropriate operating conditions, expectations, and targets for efficient shift change/hand over.

* Collaborate with fixed maintenance in creating PM schedules, prioritizing repair work, and implementing reliability improvements.

* Support operational objectives by minimizing risk and maximizing value through contract administration of contractors with focus on value, cost reduction, and risk management.

* Ensure production outcomes result from safe work practices and in full cooperation with all other work groups.

* Foster an accident free and safe working environment. Promote crew safety meetings, area safety inspections, and provide training to process personnel on an ongoing basis. Evaluate equipment operators on job performance as required.

* Develop and deliver performance reviews for assigned staff.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum of eight (8) years progressive experience within the mining industry with five (5) years' direct supervisory experience required.

* Five (5) years Crusher experience in a leadership capacity required.

* Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering/ Metallurgy, related field of study, or relevant experience preferred.

* Understanding of Open Pit safety and production targets required.

* A good understanding of operations and the ability to instill good operational work practices in their team.

* Passion and enthusiasm to continually improve - safety, production, and quality.

* A genuine interest in people and people development, someone who can authentically communicate and bring out the best in people.

* A strong work ethic, dedication to their teams, peers, and business objectives.

* Excellent communication skills to lead a team of operators and liaise between operations / maintenance.

* Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

* Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

* Familiarity with business software applications such as Oracle required.

* Demonstrated ability to perform essential function of the position.
