Lab Automation Engineer

Requirements:

Job Duties and requirements:

• Device test automation using Python scripts.
• Utilize in-house test automation frameworks to automate the manual test cases for consumer electronics device.
• Extend the test automation framework for specific requirements.
• Understand the existing manual test cases and be able to quickly translate them to automated test cases.
• Implementing best practices, new tools and technology to automate the manual test cases.
• Maintain test infrastructure and testbeds to achieve high stability and availability of the testbeds.
• Creating/updating designs using AutoCAD / SolidWorks.

Requirements:

• BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience of writing test scripts and API test automation in Python.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing test automation for consumer electronics devices.
• Android adb commands and log analysis experience is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Linux.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications including spreadsheets, and Words processing.
