Coconut Kenny's, a top-rated family-owned and run restaurant, has expanded to their next location in Lake Stevens, and we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! We are currently hiring part-time and full-time positions as Restaurant Team Member / Beer Wall Ambassador.

Job opportunities: Seeking part-time 21 year old restaurant team member who will also be our beer wall ambassador. Must be 21 to interact with our 21 patrons to make them feel comfortable with the self-pour technology. Bartending skills are not necessary. Must be able to provide top notch customer service and be well-composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll be crossed trained to do all front and back tasks like other team members.

· In addition to that, a Beer Wall Ambassador will:

o Provide top notch customer service and create a positive experience for our 21 patrons

o Be stationed near the self-serve beer wall, explain how the self-serve beer wall technology works.

o Interact with our patrons to ensure they feel comfortable with the self-pour technology.

o Help direct customers to their favorite drinks or make new suggestions. 

o Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices

o Check identification to verify legal drinking age

o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beer wall and taproom area

o Handle POS, cash transactions and operate the cash register for food and beverages and for self-serve beer wall

o Ability to work well with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the establishment

Experience:

· No Bartending experience needed.

· Self-pour beer wall skills are not required. We will train the right person with a positive vibe.

· Knowledge of premium brewery is a plus.

· Previous experience with pull tabs is a plus but not required

· Knowledge of hospitality and customer service principle

· Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practice

· Basic understanding of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverage is a plus

· Experience with POS system is a plus but not mandatory

· Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Must be able to work minimum 25hr/week.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and

professionalism

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally push or move heavy objects (e.g., kegs)

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the establishment
