Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Train and supervise bar staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide exceptional service.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage offerings.
- Plan and execute special events or promotions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of basic math for cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
- Experience in banquet or event planning is a plus.
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote specials.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the food industry, including trends in beverages and brewing methods.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is preferred.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately.
