Cocktail Caravan is looking for an enthusiastic, goal-oriented Kitchen Production Lead. This team member will be responsible for overseeing a small operation turning out cocktail and mocktail mixers for both events and retail, including kitchen operations, ordering, and quality control.
A successful Kitchen Production Lead will contribute to a positive experience for clients and co-workers by being prepared, organized, and enthusiastic. They will work closely with other management team members including sales and event coordinators, operations team, and founder. Candidate will play a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our product. This role has the potential to expand and evolve as the business grows.
About You
You’ve got 1-2 years of prep experience and are ready for something bigger. Math and formulas are fun for you, efficiency is second nature, and a clean workspace at all stages is your jam. The ideal candidate lives close to our Boulder headquarters or is willing to drive the extra distance to and from our kitchen.
Responsibilities Expectations
· Collect weekly orders from internal team
· Build weekly prep-lists
· Place orders for produce, occasionally requiring pick-up
· Check-in all orders and sign off on them
· Lead a small team of 1-3 kitchen staff by example
· Maintain inventory lists
· Oversee production of event and retail product
· Quality control all aspects of product
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
· Sanitate work areas and equipment according to HACCP and FDA regulations
· Package finished products for distribution
Skills
· Motivated and driven by deadlines and targets
· Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
· Excellent communication skills
· Extremely organized with serious attention to detail
· Ability to manage time efficiently and work with little to no direction
· Leadership skills that inspire and motivate staff to be at their best
· Basic math skills for inventory tracking and production reports
Requirements
· 1-2 years of prep experience
· Experience working with Excel formulas
· Current ServSafe certification (or willingness to take the class before first day)

Compensation
This is a part-time position offering an hourly rate of $18-22 DOE. 18-25 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday availability with occasional needs on other days. Additional hours may be available.
