Job Description

The Print Shop Technician receives orders from the Print Shop Manager. Project print production to completion. Work would include updating templates, printing quantities, completing by adding grommets or applying to corrugated or making shelf talkers and separating them, distributing print materials to account managers, utilizing Adobe Illustrator program and web based program for PC / Cloud, managing and maintaining a small format laser printer and large format Aqueous printer, and the ability to perform a multitude of responsibilities within a scheduled work day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Production of banners and various forms of POP
• Prepare banners and POP for pickup and delivery
• Installing POP and signage at retail outlets
• Ability and willingness to perform manual labor of printing and producing finished products

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), six months plus of related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence;

ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;

ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;

ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Physical requirements : Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel / squat, climb stairs, overhead reach, grasp, lift, carry, push / pull up to 50 lbs.
