Coca Cola Careers is Hiring a Director, Shopper Creative Near Atlanta, GA

The Director, Shopper Creative role will manage the design, development and delivery of strategic Shopper Marketing essentials.

Leading Shopper Creative on strategic Pillar-Platform programs, this role is responsible for setting the Shopper Creative direction in collaboration with the Brand leadership and Creative teams. Additionally, serving as an active stakeholder and trusted partner in annual business planning, aligning on business briefs, ownership of Shopper briefs, collaborating with Human Insights team to uncover key insights and build the shopper story, management of day to day with Shopper agency partners. Assist in leading the strategy and development from End-to-End through program development and execution. Responsible for attending, contributing to and reporting out on cross-functional meetings for assigned Commercial Pillar-Platform work and managing the day to day responsibilities that come with owning a program from start to finish.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement core shopper programs and messaging.

  • Develop and communicate written briefs for strategic and creative development to be used by agencies to direct and inspire their work delivering concepts for effective executions of shopper marketing programs and objectives (e.g. drive trial, increase brand love, convert shoppers to buyers).

  • Provide strategic thought leadership within connected commerce to inform role of channel and retail strategy based on priority channels.

  • Providing feedback critiquing creative and adherence to Shopper guidelines and principles. 

  • Manage creative process across a large group of stakeholders, balancing the many voices of feedback and input, while holding to the true North of what matters most to the Shopper in the final moment of truth.

  • Represent the Shopper Creative team as a center of excellence, serving as an SME within the larger Coca-Cola Marketing organization to deliver consistency and a clear Shopper path to success. 

  • Manage agency relationships through selection, scope of work development, capabilities assessment and work flow.

  • Actively manage all timelines to successfully deliver required output on time.

  • Ensure shopper program feasibility aligns with key development timelines to ensure system success and execution.

  • Collaborates with teams composed of multi-disciplinary backgrounds ranging from Brand, Design, E2E, Digital, Content Activation and Consumer Insights.

  • Ultimately deliver concepts and creative strategies that fulfill the objectives of the brief and drive results.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent education. MBA is a plus.

  • 5 years’ in Shopper Creative, Brand Management, Creative Marketing Content or other related experience in a consumer-packaged goods company, agency, or foodservice operator.

  • Advanced Strategic Thinking & Application

  • Creative Concept Evaluation: Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creative, strategic alignment and shopper impact. 

  • Ability to recognize, understand, and interpret consumer behavior, brand strategies, channel and customer needs while turning this knowledge into action and results

  • Demonstrated personal leadership skills and influencing ability

  • Digital Shopper strategy/execution experience preferred. 

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to create persuasive selling stories.

  • Strategic Selling: Ability to listen to various points of input, and sell a vision of the work through knowledge of brand and creative strategy.
