General Manager Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability
- Create and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
- Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events, such as catering or banquets

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the coffee, catering, bartending, food production, or hotel industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving revenue growth
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
