Breakfast Attendant

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, motivated Breakfast Attendant to join our team. Breakfast Attendant ensures our guests starting their day out right with a smile and delightful hot breakfast.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Keep food and coffee at proper temperature as well as appropriately stocked until breakfast is over
• Report to management when items are low in stock
• Be proficient in all aspects of food preparation in an organized, safe and timely manner

• Properly store foods in designated storage areas adhering to safe food handling standards
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas, equipment and utensils
• Washing of dishes, pans, kettles, food trays, boards as required
• Ensure compliance with all sanitary and safety requirements
• Maintain high focus on positive guest experience
• Handle all cooking equipment in a safe manner between work and food storage areas
• Distribute supplies, utensils and related items as required

Qualifications

• Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills

• A true willingness to provide high quality service to hotel guests, local customers, and peers
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• High work ethic with an excellent sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Flexible schedule

Work requires being able to stand for extended hours as well as reach upwards, bend, safely handle all implements of the tasks required for food preparation in an efficient and timely manner, able to routinely lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 45 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 36 per week
