This position is responsible for helping clients install, repair, and maintain their equipment. They are responsible for performing quality repairs and providing detailed descriptions of the work performed. A few of the main duties, of a field service technician, are inspecting and troubleshooting service equipment, instructing customers on how to use the equipment properly, building relationships with customers, and following company procedures.

Work Environment

This position works outside in the elements most of the time. This position also requires many hours of sitting while driving.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

Travel

80% travel expected for this position.
