COBALT Health & Wellness, a division of SourceNet Global, an established healthcare organization with national health services contracts with Government seeking a qualified part-time Substance Abuse Counselor - TEAP Specialist to develop and implement programs and providing assessment, intervention, counseling, relapse, prevention, and education for the Philadelphia Job Corps Center for young adult population enrolled in the DOL workforce development program.

Qualifications/Education/Certifications

Qualifications: Minimum two years related substance abuse counseling experience or training

Education: Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university

Certifications: Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Pennsylvania.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides Substance Abuse orientation and training
• Conducts Substance Abuse assessments, develops intervention plans and makes referrals for identified students
• Develops, implements and facilitates Substance Abuse prevention groups and programs
• Provides counseling, relapse prevention and prevention education
• Networks with Center staff and community agencies to provide support services to students
• Assists in developing Center operating procedures for program components
• Acts as liaison to Center Mental Health Consultant and Center Standards and Incentive Officer for Substance Abuse issues
• Performs quality assurance record audits
• Assures collection and handling of alcohol or drug testing comply with chain of custody procedures, Supports Center Tobacco Use Prevention Program through education and training

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule of service : 16 hours per week

Pay : $18-20 per hour
