We are currently looking for an energetic and creative candidate to take on the role as Retail Member Relations Representative. This is an excellent position for an outgoing individual that is looking to make a difference with our credit union and members. Essential Duties include:

To assist the Assistant Branch Manager in the achievement of monthly business goals with by managing existing relationship and acquiring new members. Attend to walk in members by promoting the Credit Union’s products and services.
Execute promotional and marketing activities, giveaway ideas, and decorations to acquire new members and deepen existing relationships.
Maintain a high level of knowledge about the Credit Union’s products and services to understand and recognize member’s needs. Share information, skills and experience with other team members and provide support as needed.

Work Environment /Physical Demands:

In-Store environment. Typical schedules fall between the hours of 8AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. Ability to work in a small area and interact face-to–face with customers over a four-foot counter for an extended period of time. Ability to lift boxes of coin and money drawers weighing up to 30 lbs. Ability to reach over counter to help customers and to reach upper cabinets for supplies. Ability to access facility and move through the retail store to speak with customers.

Required skills:

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and have a professional appearance and manner
Works to maintain/improve the financial stability of the branch and meet or exceed the established goals of the branch growth plan by working with the Branch Manager.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
Support the credit union’s Mission and Vision statement
Provide superior member service.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Organizational Development or related field preferred.
One year of similar or related experience, with proven ability to successfully communicate with staff, management and membership on credit union products and services.
