Coastal Ridge Real Estate is Hiring a Travel Operations Manager - Student Housing Near Columbus, OH

Where You’ll Work:
As a Traveling Operations Manager, you will work at one of our student housing properties nationwide on a temporary basis to provide support and management based on property and market demand or in the absence of other team members. You can expect to work at any one property for one week or multiple weeks based on need.
What You’ll Do:
As a Traveling Operations Manager, you’ll participate in the property’s operations to ensure that exceptional service is delivered to all residents and that the property continues to meet its financial goals. You’ll also serve as a leader in our organization, being a champion of the Coastal Ridge culture and ensuring associates have the tools, resources, and direction to be engaged and successful.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure community meets all monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operational targets, including achieving the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control and revenue 
  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of leasing production, including leasing administration, marketing activities and maintaining product knowledge of community and competitors to maximize rental income and budgeted occupancy.
  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of rent collections, file necessary evictions and ensure landlord/resident laws are followed.
  • Provide excellent customer service including managing resident retention, monitoring timeliness and quality of service requests, and ensuring aesthetic standards are maintained to the highest level for all aspects of each community.
  • Oversee, assist, and hold accountable all office and maintenance team members to ensure proper execution of individual responsibilities, while promoting a positive, goal-oriented work environment.
  • Train and mentor individual team members to ensure the understanding of approved policies, procedures and protocols to perform daily responsibilities.
  • Perform team management duties including hiring, onboarding, terminations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure completion, accuracy, and timelines of all regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the corporate office and property, interacting with investors as necessary.
  • Other tasks as directed and assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business or related field preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in a multifamily property management role. At least one-year prior Property Manager experience preferred.
  • Experience with Entrata or similar software systems preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, including experience creating formulas, sorting, filtering, etc.
  • Previous experience in multifamily student housing and luxury multifamily conventional housing strongly preferred.

This is a full-time exempt position, reporting to the Vice President of Operations. Travel can be expected 90-100% of the time.
