Coastal Pines Dental, a general dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care is seeking a dynamic and patient-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and welcoming experience.
Responsibilities:
Patient Reception: Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor while effectively managing to check-in and check-out patients.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information is collected and maintained.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments, optimizing the appointment calendar for efficiency.
Communicate appointment details and reminders to patients via phone or in-person.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain a helpful and approachable attitude, creating a positive atmosphere for patients and visitors.
Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Insurance Verification: Verify and update patient insurance information, ensuring accurate billing processes.
Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
Payment Processing: Collect and process payments accurately, providing receipts and maintaining financial records.
Work closely with the billing department to address any payment-related issues.
Maintaining Front Office Cleanliness: Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and presents a professional image.
Monitor and replenish informational materials for patients.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with dental team and support staff to optimize patient care and overall clinic efficiency.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about practice updates.
