This is a DIRECT HIRE position for a busy, growing, medical specialty practice in Pooler, GA.

Your main focus is to ensure that the health provider is able to obtain payment from the appropriate parties, while ensuring that all billing and coding is accurate. You will perform many different tasks on a part-time basis including:

• Translating medical procedures into appropriate insurance codes
• Entering patient information into database
• Producing statements or claims
• Investigation of rejected claims
• Reducing A/R
• Working Insurance denials and appeals as necessary.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as modern computing skills.

This position involves data entry and word-processing on a daily basis. If using a computer scares you, this isn’t the right fit. You will be dealing with numbers, so please be proficient with basic math functions.

Previous medical experience and medical billing / coding experience are a plus! ECW experience a plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 22 per week
