Isle of Capri - Fine Dining Restaurant ( Part Time ) | Compensation $14.50/hr

This position is responsible for, personalized service to all guests dining, sitting at the bar and visiting the restaurant, and has an active role in seating and the accommodating guests. This position requires a hospitality personality that enjoys a team environment. Adheres to established policies and procedures as outline in training manual, operating practices and company’s cultural beliefs.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests sincerely with a warm smile, and provide superior guest service as they enter the restaurant.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and any time of the day.
• Monitor and maintain complete cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Be familiar will all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Answer the telephone within three rings. Provide clear and proper communication to guests as well as team members.
• Take, record and confirm restaurant reservations and cancellations as specified in the departmental standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental service standards set by the management team.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service tominors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
• Monitor and ensure that all aspects of the service conform to departmental standards. Notify respective personnel forproblems to be corrected.
• Handle all cash transactions for servers and bar staff.
• Balance cash drawers at the beginning/end of shift and report shortages accurately.
• Manage the Open Table reservation system online, opening and closing the system when necessary
• Manage the seating chart and ensure fair distribution of covers for each server
