Under the direct supervision of the Center Supervisor and is responsible for case management/social service activities of the program.

• Provides case management service to families in the Head Start program including direct services to families by assisting them in determining family strengths, needs and goals
• Responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of eligible children and families in the program through outreach activities
• Responsible for the identification and recruitment of children with special needs
• Models appropriate advocacy skills for parents in working with community agencies, professionals and schools
• Link families with community resources as required
• Maintain forms/case files relating to each family ensuring confidentiality as required by law and Coastal GA Area CAA, Inc. policy
• Monitor and track child/family data on an ongoing basis
• Input child/family information into computer system

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Family Service, social work is preferred
Related degree with experience is acceptable
Must have an acceptable criminal background check
