Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. As a Warehouse/Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to and from various locations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
Duties:
- Load and unload goods and materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Safely operate a range of vehicles including cargo vans, forklifts, and more
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
- Communicate effectively with team members and distributors to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory management, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Verifying deliveries are accurate by cross referencing model numbers
- Label materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Pulling equipment and materials for the upcoming jobs
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as fork lifts, cargo vans, box trucks, pallet jacks, etc
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and distributors effectively
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Ability to bend, lift 50 lbs , reach arms over head, and full mobility
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Ability to work independently while following instructions and guidelines
