Coastal Child Care is a well known high quality nanny and babysitting agency in many cities of Virginia and North Carolina. We are opening an event venue and are searching to expand our staff with a "Front Desk Receptionist" for the event venue! The event venue will host indoor toddler play two days a week and will also be a hosting spot for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, and more. The event venue is located in Northern Moyock, just a few miles over the NC border.
This position will begin around 12-20 hours a week starting in early April with some flexible training days in March required. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and weekend availability are mandatory for this role and non-negotiable. However, some weekends may not be needed, and some weekends will only require a few hours. General hours for Tuesdays 7:30-1:30 and Wednesdays 8:00am-2:00pm (subject to change). Weekend hours will vary and have a little flexibility on times.
Weekday responsibilities would be welcoming families in the building for toddler play, checking in on children and their families, providing tours for potential event clients, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities on the weekend will mostly be cleaning up after events, unless a toddler play day is hosted on the weekend. Then same duties as week days will apply. On weekdays you will be working alongside either the owner of Coastal Child Care or other Coastal Child Care employees.
Past childcare/casual babysitting/motherhood/etc. experience is PREFERRED for this position. We are very accommodating and accepting with your own children coming along with you to work!
