Coastal Chalet Suites is Hiring a Property Manager Near Daytona Beach, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and vendors. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work, ensuring quality and timely completion
- Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
- Screen potential tenants through background checks, credit checks, and rental history verification
- Prepare lease agreements and enforce lease terms
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Handle eviction proceedings in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and occupancy rates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to tenants
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to property management
- Experience in customer relationship management (CRM) systems for tenant management
- Sales experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is preferred
- Understanding of contract law and ability to negotiate lease terms
