Coastal Bend Eye Center is Hiring an Optical Assistant Near Corpus Christi, TX
We are hiring an Optician or Optical Assistant for our busy clinic in Corpus Christi.
Duties may include:
Helping patients select the right frame and lens package
Checking insurance benefits and collecting co-pays
Place orders with the lab through the website
Checking in orders with the lensmeter and calling patients
Dispensing orders - including fitting on the patient and filing paperwork
Adjustments, repairs, and replacements of spectacles
Inventory management and consulting with frame vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
Pleasant attitude
Professional appearance
Customer service skills
Weekend availability
Experience is a bonus (and compensation will reflect experience) but we will train the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
