Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and control access points, including checking identification and enforcing security protocols
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and providing directions as needed
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred
- First aid, CPR, and AED certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicts or emergencies effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
