Coal Mine Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced or licensed veterinary technician with small animal surgical experience to join our team. As an experienced Veterinary Technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the critical skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

• Proficient ability in performing all skills of a surgical technician, including anesthetizing, maintaining, monitoring, and recovering patients perioperatively. 
• Proficient in drug calculations
• Proficient ability in performing all skills of an exam room technician 
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

The salary range for this position is $24-$27/hr. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
