Description

Job Summary: Responsible for the administrative and secretarial duties of the clinic. Greets patients, meets the communication needs of the patient/family. Provide support to the providers in the delivery of patient care.

Regulatory Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years experience in Physician Office.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Skills:

• Excellent computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to learn and use new software equipment.

Qualifications

Requirements

High school graduation or GED required.

Must have basic knowledge of personal computers.

Two years of previous experience in physician office setting preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations and coding preferred.
