Salesclerk Associate Salary/Rate: $15.50/Hour

Looking for a candidate who is looking to find a long term career at a shipping, and retail store.

An associate who delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving, and processing packages for courier shipment, and operating Copiers, Fax Machines, Excel , Microsoft Word, and Point- of –Sale devices.

The UPS Store Manager.

Job Overview

The associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options, and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. In addition, if you are detailed oriented, responsible, and enjoy assisting customers with their shipment, and packaging needs, then this is the job for you. Work is set at a part-time schedule with room to grow.

· Opening, Closing, and Balancing the POS Register.

· Making sure Bills/Coins are sufficient for the week.

· The associate will distribute mail, and packages to our private mailbox holders.

· Keep track of mailbox holders accounts and make sure rentals are up-to-date

  • Keep Track of House Account holders and make sure monthly receivables are paid on time

· Process Packages for UPS shipment

· Operates Copiers, Fax Machine, and Printing Services

· Basic computer knowledge: MS Office Suites, Outlook, Gmail, (These are a MUST) & Adobe Creative suites (a plus!)

· Keeping track of the Supplies for in- house use AND making sure to order them before supplies are depleted

· Keeping track of inventories and ordering them on time when it is needed.

· Making sure working area is organized and clean ALL THE TIME.

· File claims for lost or damaged packages and follow-up until resolved.

· Complete other duties and tasks that may be delegated by the Store Manager from time to time.

Qualifications

· The ideal candidate has previous work experience in a retail setting such as FedEx, UPS, USPS.

· Strong Computer, and Internet Skills.

· High School Diploma or GED

· Detailed Oriented/Fast Learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

· Good Inter-Personal characteristics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
