The only thing missing is you! Prepares measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities. Responsible for performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the Nuclear Medicine procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure. Responsible for the operation of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine equipment for the performance of all Nuclear Medicine procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, promotes the philosophy and ensures the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs diagnostic testing, Prepares, measures and administers radionuclides for use in diagnostic and therapeutic, as authorized and performs all duties related to these functions. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures. Education/License/Experience Requirements: BS degree preferred. Graduation from Accredited of Radiologic Technology, preferred Certification in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT NM or CNMT preferred. Current State of Montana License for Radiologic Technology preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BCLS certification.
