Optavise, a CNO Financial Group company is seeking an Agent Tech Support Specialist tasked with servicing agent inquiries regarding software questions and issues. The specialist will use information provided by the agent to triage potential issues and provide solutions or education on the process. The specialist will document issues and work with subject matter experts on resolutions. The specialist will serve as the main point of contact for the agent and will be responsible for following up with resolutions.

As an Agent Tech Support Specialist your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshoot various sales technology technical issues over the phone or by email.
  • Conduct Microsoft Teams sessions to assist with sales technology software setups or resolve software related problems.
  • Test real time technical issues for triage on complex and high priority tasks.
  • Escalate software issues to subject matter experts and IT partners.
  • Perform as a subject matter expert for Sales technology tools and processes.
  • Log calls and issues.
  • Analyze and respond to emails that are received into the technical support queues.
  • Identify and distribute necessary self-help documentation to guide agents with self-service options.
  • Assist with small projects/minor software enhancements and testing sales technology tools/software updates.


The Agent Tech Support Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

What you’ll need:

  • Associate degree or 2 – 4 years of related work experience,
  • Ability to work well within a group and individually.
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Experience with providing support via Zoom or Teams.


What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Basic remote software support experience.
  • 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Insurance experience.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
