Responsibilities

• Able to complete all items as required by industrial electrician job classification.
• Identify problems with equipment using verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate repair parts requirements or other skills required for repair regarding failure to supervisor.
• Do breakdown electrical/electronic repair maintenance to equipment in an expeditious manner.
• Operate N/C, CNC equipment for testing and in the repair of the equipment.
• Must be able to do major reconditioning of equipment controls as requested.
• Document resolution and parts used for repair and input to proper file and/or computer.
• Calibrate equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Must be able to operate forklift and other wheeled vehicles in the department.

• High school diploma or high school GED.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions.
• Must show good attendance record.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must have prior experience in maintenance and be familiar with standard repair procedures.
• Must be able to read and comprehend maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Must have background in electrical and electronic circuitry, etc.
