The Product Manager is responsible for managing the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow drivers for their product lines by controlling the product from the launch phase, core management through the sale to the dealer and life cycle in the market. Product line ownership includes product development, pricing, cataloging, promotion, forecasting and inventory management. Position will work closely with various departments including the Reman Technical Center (RTC), Dealer Development, P&S Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Core Management, Quality, Cost Accounting and other Product Managers to increase revenue and margin growth while maximizing return on investment (ROI). Essential Responsibilities:
The Product Manager will make critical decisions for strategic initiatives to drive growth for their product line. This position is assigned quarterly and annual objectives. The Product Manager’s score card for critical metrics will be based on:
Determine the product offering and overall product line strategy
Identify competition and competitive terms and conditions for the OEM and aftermarket channel
Revenue drivers: volume, pricing position to competition and product line penetration, market share % of total OEM parts sales
Margin drivers: Make vs. Buy analysis, drive margin through cost improvement
Inventory drivers: Service and Facing fill rate, depot deployment, inventory turns improve working capital
Responsible for the identification of opportunities and risk pertaining to product line
Responsible for Budget planning, Actual projections and variance analysis
Identification and analysis of market potential, competitive data, product offering
Forecasting business decisions that may impact availability of core, aftermarket user share, revenue, finished goods inventory, life cycle
Assist and identify sourcing, original equipment supplier, OE service parts, aftermarket supplies
Assist in the appropriation of specifications, OEM/OES where available, aftermarket, reverse engineering
Lead time, secondary to dealer service fill, core availability and variability
Set direction on Inventory management and levels of new, reman and core inventory
Define pricing, appropriately position between OEM new, aftermarket new, aftermarket reman and dealer repair

Make decisions to increase or decrease prices, adjust terms and conditions of sale, which will ultimately affect the competitive nature of the business and ultimately the revenues, profit and margin
Develop marketing strategy and actions by working with the CNH and CNHR Marketing group, CNHR Materials and Finance group to implement them successfully
Determine inventory levels that support the business. Make decisions that generate working capital, improves availability, fill rate performance, schedule integrity, increased absorption. Assist in the identification of potential suppliers
