Position: Integration Engineer w/HL7
Location: Onsite Project @ Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 7 Months

PURPOSE:
This scope of work is for integration engineer services to support activities and project involving the State of Florida Newborn Screen (NBS) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Health (Department).

CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with HL7 electronic test orders and results Experience with HL7 data validation
Knowledge and experience with the Florida's BPHL billing processes
Experience and knowledge of the Florida vital statistics database and NBS LIMS data matching and data quality processes

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
SERVICE TASKS: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
Manage NBS LIMS projects as directed by the Department. Tasks include but are not limited to the following
Complete electronic orders and results pilot and implementation.
Perform Vital Stats/LIMS Matching Application updates.
Perform NBS Billing Integration/Interoperability (LIMS/Billing) and dated language updates.
