Job Title: Heating Oil Delivery Driver Trainee

Job Summary:

 To assist in the delivery Heating Oil, Kerosene, Diesel or Liquid Propane by pedal truck to residential and commercial customers. This position requires an individual who can work in a safe, efficient and courteous manner. Has a “Can Do” attitude and is a team player when it comes to Customer Service, safety and fellow employees.

Job Responsibilities:

 1. Customer relations – Service that is efficient and polite, maintained at a high standard.

2. Ability to lift heavy objects, be able to pull a delivery hose varying distances and work outside in various weather/driving conditions.

3. Be able to work a flexible schedule with after hour emergency call outs.

4. Safety of vehicle which includes: cleanliness, daily inspections and reporting of any problems in accordance of DOT regulations and Company policy.

5. Ability to prioritize tasks and work without close supervision

6. Familiarity with and adherence to company policies, safety policies and regulations.

7. Accurate accounting of inventory of vehicle and bulk plant.

8. Performing every duty in a safe manner.

Job Requirements:

 Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical and Homeland Security Background Check. Have a good driving record.
